Hot Topic Is Still Hot With Millennials [Yahoo]
According to a report by data and software company Cambridge Analytics, the most popular retailers among millennials in Middle America are Urban Outfitters, Charlotte Russe and Hot Topic. The report is based on the responses of more than 220 million people. Hot Topic’s inclusion on the list raised a few eyebrows considering that, like most mall brands, the retailer suffered in the mid 2000s before being acquired by Sycamore Partners in 2013 for $600 million.
